Our team mate and friend Matt Peterson was struck and killed by a car while on a training ride in Cupertino on Sunday, March 9th, 2008. The team, along with the rest of the cycling community, his family, and those who knew him are devastated and shocked by this unexplainable loss.

Kristy Gough, Third Pillar cyclist and friend to many Roaring Mouse Cycles team members, was just behind Matt when the crash occurred and eventually succumbed to her injuries after being treated at the hospital.
